Give your dog the skills they need to walk calmly by your side and come back when it really matters. This focused 3-week short course is designed to build a reliable recall and relaxed, loose lead walking through clear, practical training you can use every day. Across three structured sessions, you’ll learn how to turn distractions into training opportunities, strengthen your dog’s focus on you, and create habits that stick. We’ll break recall down into simple, repeatable steps—so your dog chooses to come back quickly and confidently—while also showing you how to prevent pulling and enjoy smoother, stress-free walks. This course is suitable for dogs of all ages and experience levels, whether you’re starting from scratch or refining existing skills. You’ll leave with proven techniques, easy-to-follow exercises, and the confidence to handle real-world situations. How to Find Us Thursday Evening group classes are held at: Tongham Community Centre, Tongham Recreation Ground Parking Free parking is available on site, details will be sent to you nearer the time of your course start date. Cost The cost of this 3 week Short Course is £80. Who Can Join? Classes are fun and interactive and we encourage all family members to get involved! We only allow max 6 puppies per class, so limited spaces are available. This is to ensure each puppy and owner receives 121 time during each session. Vaccinations and Ages We generally recommend this course for dogs over 20 weeks of age or with previous basic training and who are in good health. All puppies need to have had only their 1st Vaccination for Distemper, Parvovirus and Hepatitis – please bring the Vaccination Record Booklet with you to the first session or send us a photo to our email. What Should I Bring to Class? - Your puppy/dog! All owners are asked to bring their puppy/dog on a collar/harness and a short lead (not retractable please). - Your dog’s Vaccination Record Booklet showing they have had their Vaccinations and they are up-to-date (can be emailed). - Their bed/a blanket for them to rest on during any breaks - A water bowl (water will be provided but some puppies prefer their own bowl. - Some tasty treats to use in training (Differing values, kibble, chicken, sausage etc). - You may wish to bring another family member to supervise any young children in attendance.

Terms and Conditions 1. We require the first vaccination and a 10 day period after, before a puppy joins the class. 2. All packages are paid for in advance and are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances – as decided by Tricks ‘n’ Treats. 3. For 1-2-1 consultants a minimum of 24 hours notice should be provided for cancellations or amendments or the full fee will need to be charged. 4. All deposits are non refundable 5. All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the dog trainer at the time they occurred, in the class they occurred in. 6. Tricks ‘n’ Treats cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage to person or property. 7. We may have to change the time of a training session or location due to weather or external situations. We reserve the right to do this and will contact you. If not suitable we will try and accommodate you in another class (subject to availability). 8. The following items are NOT PERMITTED in Tricks ‘n’ Treats Dog Training Classes: Choker chains or Check chains; Shock collars including citronella/water 9. All dogs must remain on lead within training situations unless specifically instructed by the dog trainer. 10. We take all reasonable precautions within the structure of classes and in our training situations to avoid injury. However, accept no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from dog bites occurring to clients or their dogs while in a training situation. The Control of Dogs Act 1986 section 21 - "Liability of owner for damage by Dog" applies within our classes and all training situations 11. Well behaved children are very welcome; however, we ask that they do not run around, or approach other dogs during classes. 12. Our course is designed to give you maximum benefit and enjoyment from training your puppy. Training should continue outside of the class in order to get the most from the course. If you are having difficulty with this, speak to us about our one-to-one packages to compliment your class training. 13. Dogs that have injuries, contagious diseases (or contact with other dogs with contagious diseases) or stomach upsets should not be brought to class. Owners are still welcome to attend, so you are able to apply the training at home and not miss course content. 14. Bitches in season should not attend classes.
